Your gift does make a difference. As a small non-profit, LSM is proud to be able to show donors first-hand the impact of their contribution on young, aspiring musicians who come together in this intentional community of faith. And, just as there are different types of donors, LSM offers different ways to give.

Direct Thrivent Choice Dollars
Thrivent Choice is a charitable grant program of Thrivent Financial. The Thrivent Choice program gives eligible benefit members an opportunity to recommend where Thrivent distributes some of its charitable outreach funds each year. If you are a Thrivent member (16 years or older), you can designate Lutheran Music Program as the recipient of your Thrivent Choice Dollars. It’s easy and can be done by calling Thrivent at 800-847-4836 or online:
Give through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from an Individual Retirement Account (IRA)
Here are some important notes and highlights of the law:
The distribution must be made from a traditional or Roth IRA.
You must be at least 70-1/2 years of age when the distribution is made.
Amounts given count toward your annual required minimum distribution.
The distribution must be made directly from the IRA to Lutheran Music Program.
Because circumstances may vary from person to person, donors should discuss plans with a professional tax advisor.
Authorize a Grant from your Donor Advised Fund (DAF)
If you have created a DAF for charitable giving consider authorizing a grant to Lutheran Music Program.
